ARM Support is brilliant

Not sure if you intended to optimize for ARM64 from the get-go, but you sure did an amazing job of it. VT starts playback in less than a second on my Surface Pro X with no perceptible UI rendering or delay. It's just "boom" there. I have no idea how you make your app so sleek, responsive and beautiful when many others are ... garbage. In any case, I work at Microsoft and recommended Video Tape to my team, where we are driving Snapdragon business globally. Your app makes this platform shine and proves what it can do. I hope more devs follow your example.

Thanks a lot! I didn't like the options available so that's why I decided to build videotape.... vlc is awesome, but ugly a.f. and I wanted to have a simple, fast & beautiful app for the regular user out there, supporting both mouse & touch scenarios. There are still a lot of things to do and improve but I think it's turning into a really good app and users seems to like it.

I have put quite a lot of effort to make it fast, including ARM64... I hope we see more surface arm devices soon ;) I tried the surface x and it was awesome and I'm looking into get one to improve the Modern Standby support.....

I hope we see one day a surface pro X like device, running Win10X (for the improved UI/UX for touch scenarios).... or at least a surface go with arm & win10x.

Thanks a lot for your words!

I tried Videotape on SD 850 (Lenovo Yoga 830) and SD 835 (Asus NovaGo) too - mid-range and entry Snapdragons. And tbh I have a hard time seeing noticeable perf differences. SD 850 does 4K playback with VT and doesn't even break a sweat. SD 835 manages 2K video fine and FHD with no noticeable impact either. I expect the upcoming, low-cost (!) SD 7c platform to deliver the same excellent results. Anyways, keep up the good work pls.
