It would be nice if there is a option which allows you to zoom the video. There is such a feature in the WIN 10 Player. I need this because I watch on widescreen and I would like to fill the entire player container with the video, with no black bars.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to the backlog... I hope I can get it done "soon"
thanks for your answer :) I don't know how you style the player, but I think you could archive this effect with, css transform if you calculate the aspect ratio of the video :) There is such a plugin for chrome and it ads just this webkit-transform: scale(1.35) to the stylesheet. And if the Video is 16:9 and the Screen 21:9, it will fill out perfectly.
I'm kinda curious what's coming next in the backlog :)
Yeah, I've been doing some tests but it's not yet ready... I'm both testing with just a component zoom (like the css scale) and a more advance rendering scaling....
The backlog is getting quite bit... but some nice things coming are:
- Local libraries, trackt integrations, support for playlists, automatically subtitles download, plex integration....
I need to clone myself ;)
it has been a while since I heard something. However is there a way to add some css to app myself somewhere? I would like to apply object-fit: cover; to the video tag.
